Welcome to Eardisley Church of England Primary School!

Eardisley Church of England Primary is a successful and very friendly school situated in the village of Eardisley, approximately 15 miles from Hereford and only 5 miles from Kington.

We believe that children need above all to feel happy and secure in order to learn. We want our learners to experience the joy of learning, to be resourceful, confident, enthusiastic and forward thinking.

Our attractive school, in the centre of this historic village, has served its community for 150 years. We have excellent facilities~ a superb playing field (the best in the local area), a wonderful 'kitchen garden,' a newly built outside play area for our youngest learners, with its own tree house, a purpose built playground with new adventure markings, a full sized hall for drama, hot lunches, assemblies and music and a well equipped library.

Eardisley has a past of which we are proud. Now we look to the future in the 21st Century, still at the centre of the community with children at its heart. Our exciting curriculum has been described as providing children with a dynamic and enriched experience. Our children are given many opportunities and experiences to develop their learning~ why not pop in and chat to us?

We have a well-stocked pond next to the school and this is often alive with toads and croaking frogs! There is also an ancient oak tree where squirrels can be seen foraging for acorns.

We also have our own school garden and children and staff grow a huge variety of vegetables and fruit.

We hope this web site gives you a flavour of what Eardisley CE Primary School has to offer your children in the early years of education

It isn't always sunny though - look at the photograph on the right!
