All about us - and a tour of the school!!

Being a Church of England school, Eardisley has strong links with the Parish Church. The vicar takes assemblies on a regular basis and we use the church on a number of occasions during the year, Harvest and Christmas being our major services.

Mrs Judith Chapman, the local Methodist Minister, also comes into school to take assemblies.
SPORTS

Sport has always played a major part in the life of Eardisley Primary School. We hold weekly clubs for netball and football in the winter months and compete regularly against other local schools and in tournaments.
Children in Key Stage 2 year groups swim weekly at Presteigne Pool. There the children improve their swimming skills or learn to swim. Presteigne Pool is in Wales, so we wonder how many other schools have to visit another country to go swimming!
We encourage local professional sportsmen and women to coach in our school too. For example, we are benefiting from cricket coaching by Herefordshire Cricket Association. In the past we have also enjoyed tennis, rugby and football coaching.
We have excellent facilities for a small school - a superb field for outside games, a netball court and a hall for gymnastics and dance.
We encourage parents to support us and help out where possible, so why not join us?
